The Fort Pierce News Tribune reported on August 7, 1966, "At least three other stations dropped further Beatles programming. They are WONN, Lakeland; WDCF, Dade City, and WAUC, Wauchula. WDCF planned a bonfire of records and magazines contributed by irate listeners."
