According to The Knoxville News-Sentinel on August 4, 1966, "Two Chattanooga stations, WFLI and WMOC joined the Beatle ban today."
United Press International (as printed in Kingsport Times on August 9, 1966) reported, "One of Chattanooga's two rock and roll radio stations lifted a ban on Beatle records Monday. The playing of the English group's recordings will 'return to normal and would not be increased or decreased,' radio station WMOC announced."
