According to a photo caption in the Seminole Sentinel on August 11, 1966: "Spurred on by sentiments of Seminole listeners, radio station KTFO's Chuck Martin (left) and Joe Frank Svacek are busy destroying records of the Beatles, the prominent long-maned musical group that infuriated much of America with recent anti-religious statements. The station announced after a listener survey that the Beatle records would not be played any more."
